Airport operations are very dynamic, and several stakeholders are involved. Very often questions arise about events that have taken place, to analyze what happened and produce a report. The AMORPH.aero Replay Service enables users to select a specific past period and replay the information available and the status of events during that timeframe. This saves a great deal of time and delivers much greater accuracy than the alternative of manually collecting and correlating data from multiple sources.
Detailed information is available to answer queries from Airlines and other stakeholders. This access to detailed historical information also provides a great opportunity for learning, performance analysis, and process improvement.
A graphical display of location-specific information provided on an overlay of the airport is a very user-friendly way to provide situational awareness.
The AMORPH.aero Airside Map is such a display focused on the Airport Apron and Taxiways. Using planned and real-time flight and resource allocation data, the position and status of aircraft are displayed on an overlay of the Airside, complete with gate and parking stand numbers and markings. This makes it much easier for someone in the terminal to have awareness of the situation on the airside. Status information is provided using colours, Aircraft position and orientation, and more detail information is available in a side window when a specific Aircraft image is selected. If ground radar or ADS-B data is available the actual movement of aircraft can also be tracked and displayed.
